Today, I am thankful for my son.
Until I saw his face, I never knew what unconditional love was. He was the first person who had ever made me want to change myself for the better. I wanted to give him everything I never had.
He’s got the biggest heart out of anyone I have ever met. He loves with all he has and tries to treat everyone fairly. He doesn’t care if you’re a dork or jock, he likes you all the same. I’m so proud of the man he’s becoming. I know it’s only natural, and I don’t mean to think my son is “better than average”, because I know he’s not, but I can’t help but feel like he’s going to change the world someday. Maybe not the entire world, maybe something as small as one person’s world, all for the better.
I know he already has mine.
